Grimm recognized that homeowners didn’t just need a reliable HVAC company — they needed a single, trusted partner for every vital system in their home. That insight reshaped everything. The company expanded its scope, deepened its capabilities, and in 2011, on the eve of its second century, it was reborn as AWE — Air. Water. Energy. Today, AWE employs more than 40 professionals and dispatches a fleet of 35 vehicles from our 11,000 square foot facility in West Chicago. Our team includes NATE-certified HVAC technicians, licensed electricians, and experienced plumbers — each one held to a high standard of skill, professionalism, and respect for the homes they enter.
Over the years, we’ve expanded thoughtfully and deliberately. The acquisition of Hansen Mechanical and Humidification brought specialized humidification services into the AWE family. We’ve since added indoor air quality solutions, electrical services, and plumbing to round out our offering — so that one call to AWE genuinely covers a homeowner’s complete interior environment.
